Well, we ALMOST had a dry hike! The weather cooperated beautifully for the first hour and a half, and then we got caught in a light rain for about 15 minutes. When we reached the parking lot, we were greeted by sunshine! Our roster of 15 plus a waiting list dwindled to 8 when we started, but we were a group of seasoned hikers well prepared for the elements.

David V. was first up the warm-up hill once again, with no challengers vying to take first place. Well done, David. That's two weeks in a row, so you're now a target!

We saw Bette and Bunnie on the trail as we headed to the lollipop loop. Nice to see them! And we have a new trip-leader in the making: Dawn led the group on the return from the lollipop loop, and she kept a brisk, steady pace. All agreed that we'd follow her anywhere! ~ Joyce
