Write Up:
Six happy AOC hikers made the hike to enjoy a spectacular fall day at Blood Mountain. The mountains were lush with summer green, even as there were hints that the colors of fall foliage were on the way. We saw very few fellow hikers on the route, perhaps due to the lateness of the season. All our hikers agreed that the beauty and tranquility of the woods and the view from the top were definitely worth a couple of hours of sweat!
