We met briefly by the restrooms to do introductions. The sunshine that was forecast was a no show. Once we started moving, we warmed up. I had to slowing myself and the pace down to keep it to a leisurely pace. The river level was the lowest I have even seen while doing this hike. We did encounter a variety of birds that made the hike even more enjoyable. Several members had never done this hike before and were not aware that the City of Roswell had this nice park.

I would like to thank Suzanne for joining us on her fourth Hike, Hannah for joining us on her sixth, and Robert for joining us on his seventh hike. Thanks to the rest of the members for making our new members feel welcome.
