We had a cozy group of ten on our hike this morning at Sope Creek - - and what a treat: two new (to me) AOC members! Nanette and her dog Hodges were on just their second hike. Dolores has been on several events, but had never been to Sope Creek. So we added the ruins to the route, which caused us to run ten minutes late on our return. No one seemed to mind.

We went from the Sope Creek unit to the bathrooms on Columns Drive, passing the cemetery on our way there. We were on several bike trails but didn't see but a couple of bikes today. Nice.

Lee shared some of his photos from today with me, and they're included in the album. They always add an interesting perspective to the hike.
