Spring is coming and you could see it along the Chattahoochee in the flora. As we started the temperatures were in the low-40s, wind gust, and a little sunshine we did introductions in the parking lot and started. By the end of the hike the temperatures were in the high 40s, still wind gust and cloudy. Several of our members had never been to The Bamboo Forest and they enjoyed it as did the rest of us. Parts of the trail were very muddy, and slick caused the recent heavy rain. You could tell Spring was in the air by looking at the new leaves and a few flowers that had bloomed.
