We had a little taste of summer today as the temperature rose into the 60's, but the delightful breeze on the ridges helped to keep things comfortable. We avoided the lollipop trail in favor of some lesser hiked trails (and non-trails), making sure we don't get bored with the same old routes each week. After all, the end of May will mark our 8th year of non-stop Thursday morning Island Ford hikes. We know the trails well!

Marie's two dogs, Stout and Stella, were very welcomed companions on the hike. They are both super trail dogs, and Marie made sure they didn't interfere with the hikers.

Congratulations to Dolores, who has been training hard, and made it to the top of the warm-up hill in first place today! She started off strong and didn't let up.
