Unfortunate that 7 people dropped the hike this morning because of the threat of rain. It was Drew's 100th event as well as our 8th year of hikes on Thursday mornings at Island Ford. I checked the weather and felt that we had a good chance of avoiding any rain - - and avoid it we did. The rain bubble was at full strength this morning. Although it was exceptionally humid, the rain didn't come until after lunchtime.

Two renegades (Larry and Dan R.) and Susan F. joined our group of 10 for an exceptionally friendly lunch at the NRT.
