Write Up:
Perfect weather for our nearly 7 mile hike from Medlock to Mason Mill to Emory. Note that the boardwalk between Medlock to Mason Mill is under construction. Long detour padded our mileage. It was a pleasure to welcome Nina on her first AOC hike and Theresa on her 3rd hike. Her skills as a veterinarian came in handy as the group assisted a turtle in navigating the fencing put up by the lake for some unknown reason. Also enjoyed hiking with veteran hikers Fran and Jean. Thanks for coming out.
