A special hike for a very special trip leader and friend. Sue has been looking forward to reaching her 900th for several months - - and today was the day. The predicted rain never materialized, and though it was warm, our very moderate pace under the canopy of trees kept us from working up a sweat.

Most of the group were able to stay for a little celebration at the upper lot, where the picnic table was fortunately unoccupied. Sue is only the 6th AOC member to reach 900 events, so her accomplishment deserved special recognition. ~ Joyce
