How nice to have two new AOC members on our hike . . . and young enough to be our children/grandchildren! Welcome to the club, Ashley and Eric. We hope you'll return to our trails many times in the future.

The weather was hot, but nothing unexpected. I was so proud that our group was able to deal with the increased temperatures, keeping up the pace and drinking plenty of water. We covered over 5.5 miles today. (My All Trails said 5.8, but it really didn't feel that fast.) We took several water breaks during the hike to assure that everyone stayed hydrated.

We were happy to encounter the Renegades on the lollipop trail. It's always great to mingle with them for a few minutes during a hike.
