Well, Saturday morning turned out to be a perfect time for our AOC AOC hike up and around Stone Mountain! The weather was near-perfect with blue skies as we trekked up the walkup trail to enjoy panoramic views from the top. As we swung onto the Cherokee Trail down the mountain we encountered a deer with an impressive rack wandering through a forest glade. Hiking around the creeks and lakes, we crossed the covered bridge onto Indian Island on our way back.
