After introductions in the Bowmans Island parking, we headed toward the Laurel Ridge Trail, we crossed the bridge below Buford Dam and started hiking on the Laurel Ridge Trail. We did enjoy watching the goats graze on the dam, see pictures. A quick stop at Lower Overlook Park to enjoy the views and back around toward the Chattahoochee River. We returned to the parking lot the way we came. From there we followed the river down steam for about 20 minutes and returned to the parking lot. Turning inland we hiked inland until it was time to return to the parking lot.
