We had a marvelous 10 mile hike this morning! The sky remained overcast, which kept the temperature down considerably. The rain that was forecasted for noon got delayed, so we enjoyed a dry hike the entire 3.5 hours. It was humid, but there was no rain.

We first walked the boardwalk for over 4 miles, returning to Riverside Park where we changed our gear for the Vickery Creek portion of the hike. The trails in Vickery were surprisingly dry, though the creeks were flooded, causing a change of route.

Thanks to Dawn for the post-hike refreshments. They were a delicious precursor to our enjoyable lunch at Samad Mediterranean Grill. ~ Joyce
