The temperature was humid and cloudy. Starting from the parking lot we headed upriver and looped around. We than followed the river toward the end of the park, we did another loop around the Educational Center enjoying the view of the lake north of the park. We returned to the parking lot by the way we came going around the north loop a second time. We had warning that hikers had been stung at marker JB7. I routed us around that marker, however, another hiker warned us that just ahead about halfway between JB8 and JB12 there were more bees. Joyce was stung twice in that area and is doing well. We also passed Susan F and her workday crew doing a great job of making the trails of Jones Bridge easier to hike.
