Today's weather was pretty cooperative, with sunny skies, slightly lower humidity, and a cool breeze off the river.

We had a bit of excitement up the warm-up hill, as David W. made a silent attack on the front-runners (David V. and Dawn), passing them on a run to the finish. David W. is a sneaky, capable challenger!

We saw the radio ham gentleman doing his Morse Code communication when we passed him on the return from the lollipop trail.

We passed the Renegades on the lollipop trail, but their numbers had dwindled today - - only four of them. However, Steve S. had his dog, Bailey, with him, so I guess we could say there were 5 renegades today.
