Our weather miracle happened! The 50% plus chance of rain in last night's forecast gave way to bright, clear skies and even a slight, refreshing breeze from time to time. It was a perfect morning for a hike!

We were happy to welcome some new faces to our group this morning - - Edwin, with only one prior AOC hike, and Alicia and Jeff, who are not new, but are new to our East Cobb group. We hadTWO Jeff G.'s with us today!

As planned, we did the 4 mile boardwalk trek and then regrouped for our 5 mile hike through Vickery Creek. We took a slight detour to visit the "rock snake" along the Oxbo trail. It's growing as more people add painted rocks to its length
