Mon, Oct 24 2022 - A Fall Hike to Two Waterfalls: Raven Cliff and Dukes Creek Falls (View Original Event Details)
|
The weather was in the low 50s when we started. Once we started moving, we warmed up quickly. Ton the return trip it had warmed up to the low 60s.
Due to the lack of rain over the last month, the water level seemed low. Both Falls were still worth the hike to see. We did have a minor problem with Yellow Jackets. At one point we lad to leave the trail to avoid a Yellow jacket nest. I look toward doing this hike again in late January.
We stopped at Raven Cliff Falls and had an enjoyable lunch and returned to the parking lot. From there we drove to Duke Creek Falls. Another spectacular North Georgia Waterfall.
