It was an exceptional morning in more than one way! The weather was perfect, the leaves, bright and colorful, the trails dry, and the group full with all regulars, which always makes for a very social time.

Congratulations to Steve on his first-place trek up the warm-up hill today. David Wittington. wasn't with the group today, so that gave others a chance to get up first!

We tried to pinpoint the place on the lollipop loop where Drew fell about a month ago. We know he tripped on a root and hit his head on another root, but we weren't sure of the exact place. I think that spot on the trail will now be called "Drew's Drop," to be added to "Schick's Bridge" and "Fix's Fall." I'll first have to check with Drew to be sure he wants to honor the place.

After our hike, we had a full group of TEN members at the North River Tavern, which made for an excellent end to our event.
