We enjoyed a brisk morning hike up, around, and up again at Stone Mountain. While on the Cherokee Trail we were entertained by deer, including a couple of competitive bucks. The Cherokee Trail and King Trail were quite peacefule during our trek, so we enjoyed solitude as we walked the shoreline by the lakes. The summit was cold during our first trip up but warmed up as we made our way back to the top around 11:30 for a second visit to enjoy the panoramic vistas.
