Temperature in the 30's and light winds kept this happy group stepping lively up the slopes to the Hike Inn! We met no other hikers before lunch, and enjoyed lunch inside the Inn's dining room.  Returning down the Hike Inn trail it seemed a different day - numerous hikers coming up, and with the sun out and temperatures well into the 40s our jackets finally came off.  Since construction is still in progress at the top of the falls, we parked at the Lodge.  See photos for the Lodge nutcracker display and also construction progress at the top of the falls.
