We met briefly by the restrooms to do introductions. Rain was forecast, we had a little mist lasting 2 to 3 minutes, otherwise the temperature was great for a leisurely hike. As we started the trail under Roswell Road was flooded forcing us to walk up the side of the embankment to get around it. We walked to the parking lot at the end of the boardwalk, turned around and returned to our cars. We saw 2 possums, several woodpeckers, and lots of geese and ducks.

I would like to thank Grace for joining us on her first hike and thanks to the rest of the members for making our new member feel welcome.
