Meeting at the field at the end of the Pigeon Hill parking lot, we followed the temporary trail, crossing Burnt Hickory Road to the work site via. We talked about safety on the trails and the safe use of the tools. It was a group of about 40 volunteers plus crew leaders. We removed rocks from the new trail, moved the chips from ground trees to the Camp Brumby Cut Off Trail, fixed drainage issues on about 200 feet of the same trail, and moved to the southern side of Burnt Hickory Road where we continued to move mounds of chipped trees. We accomplished everything on the workplan for January plus what was planned for February.
