Unfortunately, we were unable to hike the Grassy Mountain Tower Trail becase the road was closed due to ice/snow from January to March. Instead, we hiked the Bear Creek Loop/Pinhoti Trail. We hiked in the snow and ice over 9 miles with over 1200 feet of elevation gain. 

Thank you to the great group of hikers that were so patient as we figured out other accessible trails we could hike!

I'm planning on trying this hike again when the roads are open in the spring.
