It was great to have Russ back after his week off from hiking, and he was obviously thrilled to be back leading his Vickery Creek hike. Russ wasn't able to take his magic tree pictures due to the trail closure on the Roswell side of the creek, but he found a magic waterfall location for pictures instead! Nothing can stop Russ from his picture-taking at the beginning of his hike. After a slow beginning, Russ picked up the speed, making up for initial slowness, so that we finished the two hour hike with 5.5 miles covered. The weather was perfect and the group friendly and talkative. Another great hike! ~ Joyce
