We said we were going to boogy, and we did just that!
The three of us managed to clock in 16.8 miles with 4495 feet or more depending on who's GPS you go by. We did it with a 3.1 mph average pace over the course of our soggy jaunt through the woods.
We passed quite a few through hikers, and one that wasn't sure where he was going.
A very nice extra feature on this particular hike was a vendor showcase going on at Neels Gap as part of the 2023 thru hiker kickoff party. After scoring a little vendor freebies we finished the hike in strong fashion and counted this as another very pleasant hike together.
