We experienced a bit of light rain and mist as we drove to the event. The forecasts (from several sites) than proved correct and we had no rain during the event. With only four of us and no beginners we were able to pick up the pace. All the rain we had the night before, my garden rain gauge had 1.75 inches, the trails were slick and very muddy.
