The air was a bit cooler today, but we were able to warm up very quickly on the Powers Island loop trail. Several of the group had not hiked at Powers Island before, so it was fun to introduce them to a new place. We headed across the Powers Island Bridge to take the loop around the island itself. it was still very passable, and the blooming trillium were plentiful!

We got in that good hill at Interstate North and were impressed with the new construction along the pipeline to drain water.
