Another bad year for blueberries, it was even worse than last year. Depending on the side of the mountain and the spices of the blueberry there were either lots of green blueberries on the bushes or no blueberries. That said, most of us got two. The weather was great, the hike toward the falls was as close to perfect as you could ask for, on the return trip you could feel the heat and humidity.

The issue we had crossing the first falls last year was not a problem due to lower water levels. We proceeded to the second falls where we took about a 50-minute break. There were only about ten people giving us lots of room below the first falls to put our gear and have lunch.

Next year I think I will try this event on 7/6, two weeks later. Maybe we will have more blueberries.
