|
The weather was cloudy with occasional sunshine, by the end of the event it was humid. We walked the perimeter of the Garden in a counterclockwise direction. We started at the Manor House, Inspiration Gardens, then to Fern Dell, lots, and lots of ferns. Next stop Wildflower Meadow, there were wildflowers scattered through the field, a slow walk though both the Rose Gardens and Day Lilly Gardens these beautiful flowers. We now headed though the center of the Garden, first looking at the Waterlily Garden, the Waterlilies were in full bloom, Here we stopped and enjoyed the variety of Waterlillies. We took several different paths though the Japanese Garden, turned back to the entrance via the Grandchildren’s Sculpture Garden. 293 pictures, 4 videos, or 4.60 miles and 2 hours and 44 minutes later we completed the event. Of these it was hard to narrow it down to 116 pictures, 1 video, and 5 lunch pictures.
Thanks to Brenda for joining us on her third hike.
Several of us went to Downtown Ball Ground for lunch where we enjoyed hamburgers and pizza at Dominic’s Dining.
