The stormy morning gave way to a beautiful afternoon, so a very last-minute event was posted and our group took advantage of the break in the weather to take a 4.5 mile walk from Riverside Park to the Chattahoochee Nature Center and back.

We saw beautiful wildflowers, ducks, geese, and even a Great Blue Heron during our walk. And our small group enjoyed continuous friendly conversation.
