What a great hike we had today! The air was crisp and clear and the group all fit for the pace(s) we took. Both Russ and I shared the leadership position during the hike so that both of us had a chance to socialize with folks in the group.

We welcomed Jennifer D. into the group. She has hiked several times with the AOC, but never on our Tuesday morning hike. She felt like a celebrity at the beginning because of all the photos Russ took of her. (That's a tradition for newcomers to the hike - - lots of photos!)

We had two Mike C.'s on the hike today. How confusing is that when captioning photos?
