We're thankful to have been treated to an unforgettable "Earth Day 2023" on such a beautiful blue-sky day at this always-amazing nature preserve.  A big bonus on this 14th annual springtime AOC visit to the park was its famous annual "Bluebirds & Bluegrass Festival" - a first-time experience for each of us!  It was a joy to be among hundreds of friendly Dauset Trails fans and music lovers from all over the southeast, gathered 'round the outdoor stage as a continuous succession of world-class bluegrass bands strummed & sang.  Likewise excellent were the native wild animal displays, scenic nearby hiking trails, and fascinating demonstrations by local blacksmiths & master woodcarvers - not to mention the food truck vendors' wide variety of delicious food & refreshments.
