A great day for a hike and a great group of friends to hike with. It was Stephanie's and Rich's first Thursday morning hike with our group, and they are great additions to the group.

David W. was back with us, and he had a reputation to uphold and the warm-up hill champion. This caused some instant competition, and several of the group broke out into early runs. A BIG mistake! They suffered for the rest of the hike! Even David (who DID win again) felt a little drained of energy.

We hiked 5.7-5.8 miles today, one of our faster hikes.
