We started at Medlock Park and walked on the boardwalk a bit before veering off into the woods and exploring several of the different blazed trails in Mason Mill Park. Then we headed to Lullwater Park, walking along the creek and then crossing the suspension bridge to make a loop on the other side, where we saw two cute deer who were not at all concerned with us. We crossed back over the bridge and walked around the lake before heading back to Medlock Park on the boardwalk. It was a relatively cool morning, and a nice time to be in the woods. We had a great mix of new and more veteran members. I hope to see everyone again soon!
