What a perfect day for a hike around the lake at Ft. Yargo. We followed the Yellow Trail which took us 6.5 miles around, so that we worked up a hearty appetite for lunch!

We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant day to be hiking, with so many beautiful views of the lake. Plus, we had a very convenient stop for a bathroom break at the Visitor Center.

Sue kept the pace brisk, but the trail around the lake was very friendly, with few roots and rocks to trip us up. We walked through the campground on our trek, which was filled with campers and tents. Not surprising on this Memorial Day weekend! ~ Joyce
