Write Up:

We were 12 for what turned into a three park day: Mason Mill, Ira B. Melton, and Medlock parks. We had five hikers in the 5 and under club: DeAndre (his first!), Lillian, Christopher and Kay (2nd) and Lesa (3rd). Those five plus three others made for some new hiking companions.  It was great to see Joyce (T) and Amy again; it had been a while. (I just saw Gary last weekend). We got 5.4 miles today with 2 stream crossings and 2 railroad crossings. We covered a lot of woodland trails and some of the boardwalk.
