These are two beautifully maintained parks! Pernoshal is a small park that connects to the large, impressive Brook Run Park. In the larger park are a range of sites including two dog parks (large and small dogs), a huge playground with all kinds of climbing equipment, a community garden, a skateboard park, a disc golf course, an ampitheater, and several athletic fields. There is also a very nice Veterans Memorial.

We hiked at a comfortable pace, stopped to visit several of the areas in the park, and finished with 5.4 miles under our shoes.
