The parking lot at Cheatham Road was crowded at 9 am due to teams of runners using the trails. We managed to park, but two cars got warnings for parking in places that were not designated slots. Beware! (I actually directed the cars to park there, so if there had been a fine, I would have paid it.)

We welcomed Mike W. to the AOC this morning. This was his first hike with the club, and he made it a point to talk with all the folks on the event. He even knew Tom N., Shirley's husband, who was there to drop off Shirley. Hopefully, he'll become a regular on our local hikes.

Emily was late getting to the hike, but she found us late on the trail. Hopefully, we'll get a photo of her next time.
