Laura had more fuel in the tank and instigated another shot to the summit and back making it a total 13.1 miles in 4 hours 31 minutes (2.9 mph avg.) and elevation gain of 2979 ft...a solid D-5 effort today. The sunrise was good with a very nice cool breeze that lasted most of the morning. Throw in a great conversation and that makes this hike a great way to spend Sunday morning.
