Well, the unfavorable weather forecast discouraged many people from going up to Brasstown Bald, which was understandable.   But somehow, the skies cleared at about 10pm and stayed mostly clear, all night.  The meteor shower itself was slightly underwhelming though, with the meteors few and far between, but we did see some good ones.  We hiked up to the top and then went up again in the morning...beautiful views.
