The temperature was in the high 80’s when we started, fortunately most of the trail is covered and it kept the sun light off us. However, it did nothing about the humidity. To quote Charlie C from a couple of weeks we “had about a liter of water on our clothes”. We proceeded in a clockwise direction until we came back to the trail head, took a break for water, we turned around and returned the way we came. The only wildlife we saw were several millipedes.
