With the overnight rain (which I wasn't expecting) the river levels popped up a bit and we had a last minute withdraw - so I made an executive change to the event to just "go with the flow" from Island Ford to Morgan Falls. That change proved to be just right in the yoo-hoo colored Hooch. We got to explore a few areas that are typically not deep enough to get back into - so we took advantage of that 8 mile route. We didn't see a soul until about Burrito Bend...so it was quiet and peaceful - another treat since it was a weekend day on the water.
