Write Up:
Everyone arrived early or on time so we got underway at 5:45 as planned.  Soon we spread out a bit based on pace, but people clumped up into groups and were able to socialize a bit and make the climbs easier.  Once we gained some altitude and broke out on the south side of Big Kennesaw, the breeze came on and felt great!  The pollen count today was extremely high, but the air still seemed good.  I guess the breeze was thinning it out.

The lead team (Pam, et. al.) requested permission to extend to Burnt Hickory since they got to Big Rock early, so they did.  We all met at the Big Rock for the trek back.  Going back up Little Kennesaw seemed easy because I was talking to Helen about Colorado the whole way.  Before I knew it, we were near the top of Little Kennesaw but it seemed effortless.

Soon we were back at the visitor's center and talking out front.  We knocked it out!

Welcome newcomers Sara Li, Yuriy Sorokin, and Alex Sorokin!  Always nice to meet new people on AOC hikes!
