Meeting at the field next to the Visitor Center parking lot, there was mist and fog as we walked up the mountain. We walked up to the grand staircase. Here we trashed out trail creep, repaired and replaced five steps, and worked on the erosion issue on the top left as you exit the stairs. By 11:30 as we picked up our tools and headed back to the Visitor Center the sun had come out and it was becoming a nice day, although the trails were wet and slick.
