This has been a fabulous trip. We have had excellent weather every day and a great balance between hiking steep mountains in Muir Woods and Oceanside hiking. Our last hike at Tomales Point on the Point Reyes peninsula we saw and photographed herds of Tule elk and hundreds of aquatic birds.

Our lodging was a beautiful old farm house in Bolinas, CA, just a 5 minute walk to the ocean. We cooked in one night and ate out the rest of the time. The towns of Bolinas and Stinson Beach have great restaurants and shops, so the location was very convenient.
