Write Up:
Joyce B and Jane T joined Chuck for his third co-led trip on a very chilly. (Thank you Joyce for being my co-lead!) It was windy, too, but the shelter of the hills and trees protected us well. We had a nice leisurely hike through hidden parts of Mason Mill park, Lullwater Preserve, and Hahn Wood. We passed beautiful creeks, scrambled up and down some steep inclines, saw some city champion trees. All in all we had a great hike, even if it did turn out to be 8 miles instead of 7!
