Another fine Thursday morning hike today with great weather and friendly, fit group of hikers. It was good to have Steve F. safely back after three weeks in foreign lands, and to see Mike Collins backafter his lengthy travels.

A group of 9 of us revived an old tradition of having lunch at the North River Tavern after our hike. Such gatherings always create friendly bonds among members.

Susan F. is leading my next two Thursday morning hikes as I drive up to DC to spend the holiday with the children and grandchildren. ~ Joyce
