Write Up:
Although the weather was somewhat moist, 6 AOC adventurers showed that any day out in woods is better than a day in town. A few raindrops didn’t scare this group and we enjoyed a the hike up to the Len Foote Hike Inn. A passing backpacker commented how he had enjoyed the storm from the night before. Staff at the Inn were calmly re-opening after their Christmas break. Amicalola Falls Park seemed almost empty as we started, but well populated as we finished. All in all… a great day outdoors!
