We had a great hike at Sweetwater Creek this morning. We went as far as we could on the red trail, maybe half a mile, until we ran into the barricades, so we turned around and headed back to the visitor's center. Then we hiked the white trail loop and enjoyed some gorgeous views of the creek plus a sighting of possibly the largest Great Blue Heron I have ever seen. This is a really nice state park, and I hope to hike here again soon. Thanks to a wonderful group for a lovely morning.
