We hed a 5 star roster today with 5 trip leaders enjoying the 16 degree wind chill and testing their cold weather gear.  Yes, one hiker did wear shorts without complaint.   It was good birding today wiht lots of geese, several mallards and 3 heron on olive-colored sluice lake.
